Upon completion
of his military service as a Combatant
Officer in an elite operational unit
of the Israel Defense Forces, Ofer
Bar served in the Israel
Israel Security Agency (ISA) from
1993 until 2003. Upon joining the
ISA, he participated in
a comprehensive training program,
including the prestigious GR ("Government
Request") course for security
agents, followed by a specialized
course in aviation security. Subsequently,
Mr. Bar served as a security agent
at Israeli embassies and at El Al
Israel Airline branches around the
globe.
Upon completion
of further training within the
framework
of the

Governmental Dignitary and
Delegation Protection Unit, he
served as a VIP security agent, then
as a Senior Special Agent in Charge
in the Unit and finally as its Chief
Operations Officer for over two
years. During this period, he was
responsible for the protection of
various dignitaries, including the
Israeli President and Prime
Minister, foreign heads of state
visiting the country and more. All
such security operations required
constant security planning for a
wide range of contingencies and
coordination with a large number of
bodies.
In 2003, Ofer Bar, together with Sharon
Botzer, co-founded M.L.M
Protection, which they manage
as joint CEOs to this day. Mr. Bar
continues to undergo recurrent training
within the framework of the Israeli
Secret Service's reserve unit.
