B.P.S.
– Bodyguard, Police and Security Association
was established out of its
founders'
sense of commitment and obligation to governmental,
public and private-sector organizations and individuals
who find themselves requiring cost-effective security
solutions to deal with current and new threats
that place them at risk.
B.P.S.'s founding members have watched with concern
as the growing need for security in recent years
has led to the establishment of numerous companies
that lack the necessary know-how and experience
to provide their clients with truly effective
solutions. They have been approached by various
organizations and individuals who have employed
such providers, only to learn, after having invested
considerable resources, that the services supplied
by these self-proclaimed experts did not provide
them with the required level of protection.
The
founding companies' exceptional
experience in the development and implementation
of pioneering, comprehensive security solutions
for a wide range of existing, developing and anticipated
criminal and terror threats qualifies them to
objectively assess the professional level of security
providers. Together, they have risen to the challenge
of defining a basic level of professional standards
that security firms must meet in order to provide
their clients with effective, reliable solutions.
Moreover, B.P.S.-certified security providers
are required to comply with the strict B.P.S.
Code
of Ethics, which was developed
to ensure B.P.S.-certified firms and consultants
are not only top-notch security professionals,
but also maintain the highest moral values.
In order to assist its members in maintaining
the required professional standards, B.P.S. conducts
a wide range of training courses and workshops
in various security disciplines, as well as professional
seminars in which high-ranking security experts
discuss developments and worldwide trends. A members'
forum will also be established, in which know-how
will be shared for the benefit of all B.P.S. members.
Potential clients who contract security providers
certified by the B.P.S. Association – be
they companies or consultants operating individually
– may rest assured that these meet the exacting
standards defined by true security professionals
and are fully capable of supplying them with the
security solutions and/or services they require.
Furthermore, security providers who have been
certified by the B.P.S. Association will benefit
from this recognized "seal of approval",
which they will be able to present to their potential
clients as evidence of their consistently high
professional level, as part of their marketing
and promotional efforts.
